Scara Robots
I'll start by introducing you to Scara, which stands for Selective Compliance Assembly Robotic Arm. The arm is selectively compliant since it flexes in the XY direction but not in the 'Z' direction due to SCARA's parallel axis joint placement. The second aspect of SCARA is its two articulated arms, which resemble human arms, which is why the term "articulated" is used so often. This characteristic enables the arm to extend into small areas before retracting, or "folding." This helps for loading and unloading closed processing units or moving parts from one cell to another. The Scara robot's general characteristics are as follows: • Precision, • Ease of assembly, • Fast speed, • Accuracy, • High efficiency • And being economical, of course. Usage areas are typically; • Pick and place; • assembly and placement; • packaging and palletizing; • cutting and separation; • measurement and control; • transportation and relocation; • clean room applications This video is for your observation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZoJVi6xlXA
